Big River Station

Join us to celebrate the opening of Big River Station, the first exhibition of works by Territory artist Shannon Townsend-Tapp.

Shannon, from Big River Station in the Roper River region, has been drawing since childhood and her love of the Territory is expressed through her art.

This exhibition showcases Shannon’s extraordinary talent of depicting station life through her evocative drawings, capturing moments from buffalo and bull catching to contract mustering and everyday life.

Big River Station will open in conjunction with That’s What She Said from 6-8pm on Thursday 15 September due to the WOW – Women of the World Festival Katherine 2016

Opening Celebration and Performance on Friday 16 September.
